Entering the home stretch!!!!!

I started Week 28 on Sunday. This officially gets me into my 7 month of preganancy and in my last trimester!!!!

I feel really good besides the uncomfortable nights. I really want to sleep on my back, but it's a no-no. Plus she lays on my bladder and that hurts.

I went for my two week dr. appointment last night. My gestational diabetes bloodwork came back fine, and my ultrasound to check on the amniotic fluid came back fine too. My doctor's appointments are every 2 weeks now, and are once per week once I get to 36 weeks.

We signed up for a labor and delivery and a newborn class. These classes are pretty intense. Labor and delivery is two hours every Wednesday in January!!!

I can't believe I'm in the last trimester. I don't have anything done. The nursey needs to be finished, I need to get an area rug, and clean out the room. The furniture has been ordered, and should be here in about 3 weeks.

Ultrasound- Week 26

At our doctor's appointment on 12/8, she ordered another ultrasound of the baby to get measurements of the amniotic fluid. She said it was measuring a little low, but it was hard to tell, since the last measurements was over 8 weeks ago. Otherwise, the baby had a good heartrate (130-ish bpm), and weighs 2 lbs, 5 oz.

There is a really cool picture of the baby that I will post once I get my piece of shit scanner at home to scan the picture.

My 3D/4D ultrasound is on Saturday. I am so excited! I can't wait to post those pictures. They are supposed to be very detailed!

My doctor's appointments now are every two weeks instead of every month now that I am heading in to my third and final trimester. My next appointment is on the 22nd, which should tell me how the amniotic fluid looks, and how my glucose tolerance test came out.

26 weeks and counting

On the 8th of December I will start my 26th gestational week. I have a doctors appointment in the evening. The doctor's appointments have been monthly, but after the next one on or around the 5th of January, I think they are every two weeks.

Jodi is moving constantly. There is a set schedule I can set my watch to. At about 4 am when I have to go to the bathroom I feel the first movements. She then slows down in the morning and picks up again at about 10 and doesn't stop until about 3. Then she picks up again about 7 pm and goes to bed at 10. However, if I'm up late, she's up. The kicks and punches in the morning and afternoon are so pronounced it almost hurts.

We are scheduled to get a 3D/4D ultrasound on 12/20. I'm excited to see what she looks like (other than the black and white blobs you get with a 2D ultrasound).

The nursery is painted. Pink. Of course. My favorite color. We just have to put another coat of paint on the closet doors and touch up the wainscotting. We also have some new nobs to put on the closet, and Home Depot has a really cute little ceiling fan for a little girls room. Oh, and we have to put up the blinds too, and clean out the closet.

December is a busy month. This weekend I want to put up the rest of the Christmas decorations, next weekend I want to work on the nursery and possible dinner with Wendye, the weekend after that is Christmas party and the ultrasound, then the weekend after that is Christmas weekend. I'll be 29 weeks by then.

Time does fly!!
